چکیده

The primary goal of this article is point out certain close parallels between some ideas the radical feminist theorist Mary Daly and those French philosopher Henri Bergson. These similarities are particularly striking regarding distinctions made by both authors two fundamentally contrasting types cognitive faculty, time temporal experience, self emotion. departs from Bergson inasmuch as she employs these in her own way. She does not—like Bergson—employ them to depict result a natural process consciousness or life, dangers for human freedom thought not properly respecting differences. Rather, locates differences within more liberatory, ethical perspective ground sharp, inimical contrast creative movement on one hand, static, fixing, “fixating” patriarchy, with its “technocratic” pretensions, other. My hope that highlighting will open new paths appreciation critique Daly’s work.
